Cognitive Development Stages

The sensorimotor stage of development is the first in which infants are able to remember. Secondary Circular Reactions(4-8months) The secondary circular reaction stage follows after the first two stages of development have been completed successfully. This means at least one year has passed since birth or 18 months old because these children can now use their hands for more than just gripping things like they could in the previous two stages - they also start using them to explore objects by banging them together, pushing them around on surfaces, etc.
